My turn

Good evening, this is Chris and Devins better lookin brother Kyle (16). As you can tell Im takin my big bro being gone well. I just wrote a letter to him and I have had a good bit of fun in it. I almost beat up a guy this week for sayin Chris would not last 3 weeks. The bell is the only thing that saved him and I told him I better not see him again. Still have not seen the guy lol. What I would have to say I miss the most with Chris is being his "battle buddey" in video games. Well thats all for now.
Love,
He who reigns supreme in his own world
Kyle (lol)

I feel that it must be addresses that this is a 104 lb boy that marches to the beat of his own drum and although he misses his brother is actually enjoying being the oldest child for the first time. His sense of humor is a 150 on a scale of 100.
Carry on,

One week down

This is Devin aka the D~man. I am 10 yrs old and I am in the 5th grade this year. I asked my teacher if we could write letters to Chris' platoon this year for one of our writing assignments and she said that we probably could. I didn't know it but her son is in the Army to. I don't know where he is stationed but I will ask her this week.
I wrote Chris a letter today when I was suppose to be cleaning my room but when mom found out what I was doing she couldn't be mad. But I really need to get my room clean cause Chris told me before he left that if I cleaned my room and kept it clean I could have his stereo. He is a pretty cool big brother. He even told me that if I kept my grades up he would send me something cool.
I really miss Chris because he would come in my room and play guitar hero with me and other ps2 games. He even gave me his razr phone before he left because he couldn't take it with him and he said when he finished BCT he was going to get him a new one.
I think it is so cool that Chris is a Soldier. It makes me very proud and all my friends think it is awesome. I can not wait til December when he finishes BCT and hopefully gets to come home for Christmas. I hope he is here before Christmas break so that he can wear his uniform to my school to pick me up.

I love you Chris,
D~man

And we couldn't be prouder

Hi everyone, we are Kyle 16 and Devin 10 and our big brother is Chris, who is currently beginning BCT @ Fort Knox, Kentucky. This blog is our way of keeping friends and family up to date on what is going on with Chris and also a way for us to show him just how much we love him and how proud of him we are.
You can also keep up to date over at our mom's blog: arkansasarmymom by clicking there on her name or over there --------> on our links list. She will be helping us set everything up and keeping things running around here because everyone knows that two little brothers will find it hard to agree on things every now and then.
Hopefully we can talk our dad and stepmom and maybe even our stepdad and grandpa into guest blogging every once in awhile.

Today was a hard day for all of us because it was the day that Chris had to leave but we are looking forward to December when we get to see him again. Only 124 days give or take a few.

We love you Chris,
Kyle and Devin
